Welcome to the eleventh issue of Black Girl Perfume Club! Let’s dive right in.

Last week I took a quick little trip to Los Angeles, California for a media event and decided to make the most of my time there. I stumbled into Luckyscent’s Scent Bar in Hollywood to do some fragrance testing. The amazing manager, Steven, alerted me that Black perfumer Chris Collins also planned to do an event later that evening, and of course, I had to make it.

I ended up meeting Chris and talked about fragrance and our respective times in NYC. I even got to try some of his amazing fragrances. My favorites are currently ‘Harlem Nights’ and ‘Lost in Paradise.’ He’s an incredibly kind and knowledgeable soul!
