How Sabrina Elba Recognizes Her Husband’s Scent
Ever wondered what the ‘sexiest man alive’ Idris Elba smells like? According to an interview with PEOPLE magazine, "Idris has a musk that he uses as a body oil, and anyone that knows him knows that's his smell," Sabrina Elba, his wife, says. "I love it. The Future of Fragrance Shopping
Millennials and Gen Z are driving the fragrance market and scent experts discussed its future at BeautyMatter’s FUTURE50 Summit. Here are some interesting points made during the panel discussion on fragrance:
Millennials and Gen Z are so over signature scents. They’d rather have a collection to choose from. “Gone are the days where you had one fragrance on the dresser and that was what you wore all the time,” Harry Richards, Investment Director at Manzanita Capital, told BeautyMatter. “Now people have a scent wardrobe. They have different fragrances for different occasions, moods, and different times of the year. So I think how customers interact with fragrance has changed.”
Millennials and Gen Z are really into edible-like scents of the gourmand, vanilla, cherry, apricot, and peach variety.
Consumers prefer smaller-sized scents that they can carry and re-apply. No longer are the majority flocking towards 100ml.
